Oscar Scarano
Oscar Scarano is an electronics engineer, digital strategist, and founder-editor of MAN/MACHINE. For more than two decades, he has led software, web, mobile, and digital transformation projects across industries ranging from retail, travel, banking, healthcare, packaged goods, agriculture, and culture-driven consumer brands.
His work sits at the intersection of systems, interfaces, business logic, and human behavior: designing digital experiences that are useful, clear, and aligned with how people actually think, decide, and work.
Since 2008, Oscar has also researched trading strategies for CFD, Forex, and stock index markets, combining wave-model theory, machine learning, and mathematical pattern systems. That long relationship with models, prediction, automation, and uncertainty helped shape the editorial territory of MAN/MACHINE: the space where human judgment meets machine intelligence.
He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Buenos Aires. Outside digital systems, he is a 4th dan Japan Karate Association karateka, with years of practice, competition, teaching, and participation in international seminars and clinics.
